Wairarapa Police still seeking Paul Anthony Thompson

Wairarapa Police are still seeking Paul Anthony Thompson who is a person of interest in the Church Street aggravated robbery last Tuesday night (26 July 2011).

Detective Sergeant Rob Rackliff of the Wairarapa CIB says 22 year old Thompson may possibly be in the wider Wairarapa or Palmerston North areas and Police are keen to hear from anyone who knows his whereabouts.

Two men, aged 39 and 23 were charged on Friday in relation to the aggravated robbery, which occurred around 11pm last Tuesday night, where it's alleged three men entered a Church Street address and presented a firearm at the two occupants, assaulting the male occupant.

"We are still yet to locate the sawn-off shotgun involved in the aggravated robbery and would like to hear from anyone who may have any information as to where this firearm may be."
