CEO interviews to be postponed
Christchurch City Council will postpone the interviews for its Chief Executive, Deputy Mayor Ngaire Button says.
The interviews will not be held until after the hearing of a Court Injunction which will determine whether Councillor Aaron Keown can take part in the appointment process. The shortlisted candidates were advised of the Council’s decision this afternoon.
“The Council has followed a robust process to this point and wants to be confident that the process is done properly and with integrity,” Ngaire Button says.
