Police seek male driver in relation to fatal crash

Police seek male driver in relation to fatal crash in Beachlands last Thursday

Counties Manukau Police urgently wish to speak with a young male who was driving West along Whitford Maraetai Road just before 11pm last Thursday 4 August.

Police believe the driver may have stopped and talked briefly with 19 year-old Jacinta Waipouri who was fatally hit by another vehicle a short time later, along with her friend 24 year-old Helen Dando who sustained serious injuries and is recovering in hospital.
