Police seek witnesses to Alfriston crash on 10 August

On Wednesday 10 August, Police attended a crash just before 6:30am at the intersection of Claude and Alfriston roads, in Alfriston (near Manurewa).

The crash occurred when a black Honda Integra turned from Claude Road onto Alfriston Road and collided with another vehicle, a silver Holden Vectra.

The 46 year-old male driver of the Honda Integra sustained facial injuries and the 22 year-old female driver of the Holden Vectra received minor bruising.

Police suspect the driver of the Holden Integra may have been racing another car prior to the crash and wish to speak anyone who may have witnessed any such activity and/or taken note of the other car involved.

If you have any information that could help Police build up a clearer picture of the circumstances leading up to this crash, please contact Constable Andrew Petrie on 09 262 9109.
