Police appeal for information on missing Christchurch teen

Police appeal for information on missing Christchurch teen

Christchurch Police continue to hold fears for the safety of a teenager who has now been missing for a week.

Hayden Peter MILES, aged 15, has been missing from his home in Halswell since last Thursday, 22 August. He was last seen on that day in the Linwood area.

Detective Richard Quested says Miles is described as being of thin build, 170 cm tall, with dark hair. He was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans when last seen.

"We believe it's possible that Hayden may have travelled to the North Island. He is reported to be suffering from depression and we are concerned for his wellbeing," says Detective Quested.

Anyone with information about his movements or whereabouts is asked to urgently contact Christchurch Police on (03) 3637400.
