The nationwide budget bus company, nakedbus.com, has partnered with Passenger Transport and Citibus to provide their customers with free local transport to and from nakedbus.com long distance services.

Services from all over Dunedin (see list below) will help passengers get to the Passenger Transport Citibus depot at 630 Princes Street, to board their nakedbus.com service. At the bus depot there is a warm waiting area for the passengers to stay out of the weather when waiting for a service.

By partnering up with local operators around the country nakedbus.com can provide the best localised service possible. So by supporting nakedbus.com, customers are supporting local businesses in each area while also getting the benefit of a nationwide network.

From Dunedin, there are daily services to Invercargill and Christchurch with fares starting from $1* and the earlier you book, the cheaper it is.

The launch of free local fares in Dunedin coincides with the launch of three brand new Isuzu buses that have been introduced to the services from Dunedin to and from Christchurch and from Christchurch to and from Queenstown. This represents an investment of $1,000,000 in the low cost long distance bus market. This is on top of a multi-million dollar investment in buses in the North Island.
