Papanui Police are investigating an Arson that was reported this morning.
The Fire Service was called to the Corner of Clyde and Jefferies Road at about 2:00am this morning and extinguished a well developed fire in sheds at the rear of the Fendalton Library.
The sheds and contents were significantly damaged as a result of the fire.
Constable WYETH of the Papanui Police said, "Police would like to speak to anyone that noticed anything suspicious in the area overnight".
