Kaikohe, Northland - Aggravated Robbery

At about 9.00 p.m. on Tuesday the 17th of January 2012, there was an aggravated robbery at Rose's Takeaways on Broadway, Kaikohe.

Kaikohe Police are currently investigating this matter and are seeking information from anybody who was in the area around the time of this incident.

The suspect for this matter is described as a male with dark brown coloured skin, average build and approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall. At the time, this suspect was described as wearing a grey coloured hooded sweatshirt with a white hoop design around the sleeve, chest and back, loose fitting plain black pants, a pair of white cotton gloves, wearing a balaclava covering his face, black sports shoes with a white stripe on the side and carrying a light grey coloured sweat shirt.

Police are also looking to speak to a male who spoke to the victim in this matter immediately after the aggravated robbery.
