AOS Incident in Invercargill
At about 5
pm Saturday the Invercargill AOS were used to clear an
address in Invercargill following a domestic incident.
A
distraction device was used before entering the address in
Wilfrid Street and was clearly heard by a number of the
neighbours.
A loaded firearm was located at the address.
Following further enquiries a 40 year old Invercargill
man was located at an address in Mary Street by the AOS and
taken into custody.
The man will appear in the
Invercargill District Court on Monday the 13th August and
will face a number of charges.
No one was injured in the
incident.
