Young woman killed in West Coast road
Police are today investigating the
cause of an accident on State Highway 7 near Ngahere on the
West Coast of the South Island in which an 18 year old woman
Police were alerted to the accident about 4.30am
today by a passing motorist.
The woman was the sole
occupant of the vehicle and it does not appear that any
other vehicles were involved in the accident. She died at
Serious Crash Investigators are at the scene.
One lane of the road is now open.
