Aggravated Burglary In Puhoi

Four men will appear in the North Shore District Court this afternoon after an incident in the rural township of Puhoi early this morning.

Rodney Police say at about 12.15 am Thursday 16 August 2012 four males went to an address in Lenzen Road. The location is about 15 kms west of Puhoi village.

The four men approached the address and attempted to enter a house where a sole occupant was inside. One of the men was armed with a cut down rifle.

The occupant called Police. Police Units went to Puhoi where they located and arrested the four suspects. A vehicle, a loaded firearm and several items of stolen property was recovered.
