Title: Taupo Police Make Arrest In Alleged Sexual Assault Investigation

Taupo Police investigating an alleged sexual assault last week have made an arrest.

Detective Sergeant Tony Manunui of the Taupo CIB says a 27 year old local man is appearing in the Taupo District Court today, facing a charge of indecent assault in relation to an alleged sexual assault of a 22 year old woman last Thursday evening.

"Police would like to thank members of the public who provided valuable information to us in recent days."
