Police yesterday completed
their scene examination and victim recovery work at the site
where helicopter wreckage was found on Wednesday (21
November) near Humboldt Creek, Fiordland.
The victims'
remains will now be formally identified through a forensic
process. This could take a number of weeks.
The Civil
Aviation Authority will be investigating the cause of the
crash.
Police have also now referred the matter to the
Coroner.
