Fine Dinning for the Koru Care Children’s Trip of a Lifetime

Hawkes Bay restaurant, Elephant Hill are hosting a dinner to help raise funds for the annual Koru Care trip of a lifetime for children coping with ongoing medical conditions, terminal illness or other challenges in their lives.

The Californian Adventure takes place in October and will bring joy to the faces of 30 children from throughout the country who will be winging their way to California for the “30 Kids for 30 Years” Anniversary Trip.

With three children from Hawkes Bay going on the Californian Adventure this year, this is an ideal opportunity for the local community to get in behind and help Koru Care raise the much needed $195,000 needed to make the trip a possibility.

The management and team at Elephant Hill are on-board and ready to help us raise the much needed funds to make this years trip as memorable as possible.

The special fundraising dinner on Saturday 6 July will consist of a three-course meal with wine matching; there will also be a silent auction and raffles.

Tickets are $100pp.  Spaces are limited so please email info@korucare.co.nz to secure your tickets.

And it’s only through the support and generosity of the community that Koru Care are able to provide these trips, and the Elephant Hill dinner is one of the ways people support this organisation make wishes come true for children.

"These trips are a highlight for kids from throughout the country, and without the support and generosity of our sponsors and supporters these trips just wouldn’t be possible.”  Ann Bain, Chairperson of Koru Care NZ said.

Ann Bain added “We couldn’t do it without our sponsors and the generosity of the public.

“The children who go on our annual trip enjoy themselves and come back with a new lease on life; and this is in part only possible through the support we receive; so on behalf of Koru Care and the many kids we help – a big thank you to our supporters and sponsors is in order – thank you.”
