Car crash in Titirangi
At about 9:27am
this morning, emergency services responded to a car, that
had crashed into a power-pole, on Huia Road, Laingholm,
Titirangi.
The driver sustained moderate injuries and was
taken to hospital, status 3.
As a result of the crash the
power-pole and live power lines have fallen to the ground.
Electrical workers are on site and are repairing the
fallen power-pole and lines. Repairs are expected to take
all day.
Huia Road is closed and diversions are in place
at the following locations.
(1) Huia Road and Laingholm
Drive. (2) Huia Road and Woodlands Park Road.
These
diversion will remain in place until further notice.
Motorists are advised to avoid Huia Road and to take an
alternative route.
