The 17 year old arrested in relation to the July 31 assault on homeless man Edwin Linder is appearing, by way of audio visual link, in the Auckland District Court at 2.30 today when he will be charged with Mr Linder's murder and the aggravated robbery of a different victim.
The charge of Wounding with Intent to Cause GBH will be withdrawn and a the charge of Murder has replaced that charge.
The accused has name suppression and details relating to the alleged incident have also been suppressed. The suppression argument will be heard on 20.08.2012.
