Man on top of Sky City convention
centre

Emergency Services were
called to the Sky City Convention Centre at about 2:50 pm
after a disturbed man was reported on the top of the
pedestrian over bridge across Federal street. Federal street
was closed by Police for about 40 minutes while the man was
removed from the roof.
The 27 year old man, dressed only
in his underwear, was assisted from the roof by the Fire
Service and taken into police custody. He will be provided
with appropriate
support.
