Due to the closure
of State Highway 30 at Owhata following the fatal crash all
traffic between Rotorua and Whakatane via SH30 or Tauranga
via SH33 should travel around Lake Rotorua via Ngongotaha
and Hamurana and rejoin SH 30 or 33 near Te Ngae. Police are
working to clear the scene and complete their investigations
and will open the road as soon as possible.
