Kaitaia Homicide Inquiry - man charged with murder
A
45-year-old man will be appearing in the Whangärei District
Court today charged with murder.
The man faces the charge
in relation to an incident in Kaitaia on Tuesday night in
which a 28-year-old woman was hit by a car on Pukepoto
Road.
Police launched a homicide inquiry following the
incident.
Inquiries are continuing and Police would like
to speak with anyone who picked up any hitchhikers between
Kaitaia and Kerikeri yesterday between 6am and
12pm.
