The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 30 August.

• SH16 eastbound to SH1 southbound link 25 - 28 August
• Symonds Street southbound on ramp 28 August

• SEART northbound on ramp 29 August
• Southbound lanes between Mt Wellington Highway off ramp and Princes Street on ramp 25 August (approx 11:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• Mt Wellington Highway southbound on ramp 25 August
• Takanini southbound off ramp 27 August (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• Papakura northbound (loop) on ramp 27 - 28 August
• Papakura southbound on ramp 25 – 26 & 29 August
• Papakura northbound off ramp 27 August
• Papakura southbound off ramp 25 - 26 August
• Nikau Road northbound on ramp 26 August
• Ridge Road northbound off ramp 28 - 29 August (approx 8:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
