Hamilton Police seek information from public about person of interest

At around 10am a member of the public reported a male acting suspiciously at the Te Awa Mall at The Base Shopping Centre in Te Rapa.

Police believe he has been involved in a serious incident and want to establish exactly what has taken place.

Hamilton Police are requesting any information the public may hold to assist in identifying the man.

The man is described as Caucasian, aged between 20-30 years, of a slim to medium build. He was wearing black trousers, a beanie with a crest or logo on the front, with wrap around sunglasses and a green zipped sweatshirt. (Image Attached)

Police urge anyone with information to contact the Hamilton Central Station on 07 858 6200 or alternatively if you want to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
