Press Release: Waikato District Council
Newell Road Project Gets Underway Again
The project
to revitalise and reseal Newell Road in Tamahere will get
underway next week after being placed on hold through
winter.
Bad weather prompted Waikato District Council and
contractor, HEB Construction, to put the project on hold in
May to avoid disrupting residents and motorists.
The last
stage includes the addition of a footpath, replacing the
berm, improving drainage and resealing a section of the
Newell Road and Birchwood Lane
intersection.
