Homicide victim identified
5 September 2013 -
Steven Harris, 54 and of no fixed abode was the man
attacked in Auckland's Myer's Park between about 11.20pm and
11.30pm last night. Mr Harris died a short time later in
Auckland Hospital. 
Police investigating his death are still examining
the scene where he was attacked but anticipate reopening
most of the park to the public early this evening.
Acting
Detective Inspector John Sutton said the investigation team
is still anxious to hear from anyone, particularly two Asian
men and an Asian woman, who were in Myers Park at or about
the time Mr Harris was attacked as they may prove to be
valuable witnesses to some events. Anyone with information
