Police and other emergency services attended a report of a forestry accident in forest area off Tangiharuru Road, Kaingaroa. The incident was first reported at 5.15 pm on Tuesday 26 November 2013.
A 63 year old forestry worker died in the incident. OSH are investigating and the death has been reported to the coroner.
