Snow Park announces new Ice Drive Experience

A new Ice Driving Experience aimed at corporate groups and individuals now provides a complete package: Ice Driving combined with luxury accommodation and New Zealand hospitality.

Last year, the Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds acquired the Snow Park, located adjacent to the proving grounds. "This year, at the Snow Park, we aim to create ice driving equal to what you would find at SHPG. It will be the only place in the Southern Hemisphere where people can experience ice driving", says Steve Gould, Manager.

"We wanted to offer a complete experience for our clients. A range of additional team building activities are also available and along with luxury accommodation, exquisite cuisine, and a versatile Event Centre, the Snow Park Ice Drive experience will attract corporates, but also groups of friends who are looking for a unique and fun experience in a spectacular and private setting."

There are two options:

The Premium Ice Driving Experience.
The Premium Ice-Driving Experience package incorporates an exclusive ice driving experience partnered with luxury accommodation, exquisite cuisine, and true New Zealand hospitality in a spectacular and private alpine setting. It’s the only ice driving experience available in the Southern Hemisphere, and the only one in July in the world!
This is a once in a lifetime driving experience presented with qualified instructors and luxury European cars.

Clients will be guided through the basics, before moving on dynamic driving where they will experience the thrill of drifting around a snow circle or slalom course before finishing the day with timed laps on our autocross course where bragging rights and the winners cap will be awarded.

There are also options for exclusive use of the Snow Park for conferences, meetings and product launches.
Combine a conference, meeting or product launch in the Event Centre with the Ice Driving Experience and a range of additional activities available that can be tailored to the each customer's individual needs.

The Event Centre can host up to 150 people.
