Police and other emergency services are in attendance at a crash at a race event being held at Hampton Downs. Shortly after 1.00pm Police were called to the race venue after a serious crash had occurred. The driver of one of the vehicles competing in a race was killed as a result of the crash.
Presently the race event has been cancelled and the site secured for an in-depth investigation by the Police Serious Crash Unit.
The event today was a pre 1960’s classic car racing event.
