Auckland Film Studios fire
A major fire occurred at
the council-owned Auckland Film Studios in Henderson, West
Auckland last night.
Studio 3, one of five film studios on the site, has been extensively damaged.
The building was not being used for filming and the damage is not expected to affect current filming operations.
The building is insured.
Full information is not yet available. Auckland Council is working with the Fire Service and will provide further information as it becomes available today.
