Man arrested in relation to home invasion at Tinopai

Police have arrested a man in relation to a home invasion in Tinopai in June.

The 27-year-old man was located in Auckland last week. He has been charged with aggravated robbery, kidnapping, wounding with intent and aggravated burglary.

The man has been remanded in custody and will appear in the Dargaville District Court on October 16.

The home invasion took place on Sunday June 8 when five people entered a house on Tinopai Road and assaulted the occupants.

Police are still looking for the outstanding offenders, so if anyone has information relating to the incident they can contact Dargaville Police on 09 439 3400 or if they wish to remain anonymous can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
