The following statement is issued on behalf of Lucy Knight's family, from her husband Peter Thomas.
We are shocked and upset by the events of yesterday afternoon.
Lucy has undergone surgery and is recovering in hospital and we are here with her.
At the moment our main focus is Lucy and simply being with her.
Our children are in good hands. We thank our family and friends for their love and support, and we'd also like to thank the many others who have offered their concern and best wishes.
We ask that our privacy be respected.
