Motor vehicle crash on SH1 at Waikuku
Police can confirm that a 19 year old man who was flown to Christchurch Hospital in a critical condition yesterday following a three-vehicle crash on SH1 at Waikuku has passed away this morning.
The death has been referred to the coroner. No name will be released until next of kin have been fully informed.
Police investigations into the cause of the fatal crash are ongoing.
There will be a further update this afternoon.
