Charges follow Hamilton triple fatal crash

Police investigating a fatal crash west of Hamilton on
Wednesday have charged the driver of a car involved in the
collision.
Detective Sergeant Dave Grace of the Hamilton CIB said a 56-year-old US national from the state of Utah was charged with three counts of Careless Driving Causing Death and will appear in the Hamilton District Court later today.
"Wednesday's tragedy is being investigated by a number of teams and from the Police's perspective we are acting on behalf of the Coroner.
"The crash investigation is still in its formative stages and it is too early to comment on the cause of the crash.
As we mentioned yesterday Police would like to express our condolences to the families for their loss."
