"Sexual Attack - Palmerston North - Central"

MEDIA RELEASE Palmerston North Police are investigating a sexual attack of an 18 year old female in the early hours on the 14th March 2015.

The female left an inner city bar just prior to 3am and was befriended by a male and taken to George Street where the attack has occurred. A small portion of George Street was cordoned off while a scene examination was completed. Police enquires are continuing however police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed a male running from the area around 3am. Police understand that two males who were not involved in the attack were approached by the victim and were asked to assist.

The males have yelled at the offending male who ran away. Police would like to hear from these males who may hold vital information.
