Serious injury at neighbourhood fight - Mili Way, Ranui - Waitemata

Police are investigating a neighbourhood dispute in Mili Way, Ranui.

The incident happened around 9.40 pm tonight and escalated rapidly with a variety of weapons being used, which included bats, a machete and a rifle. The person with the rifle was tasered by police after he did not put the gun down after being called upon to do so.

At least one person was taken away by ambulance with a serious injury to their arm. CIB are investigating. Northcomms has no further information on the matter.
