Firearms and Drugs Located - Wainuiomata
At about 5pm
on Sunday 12 July 2015, Police received information that a
male they are looking for was at an address in
Wainuiomata.
Kane Byrne, 27 years old has a warrant for his arrest, and is actively avoiding Police.
He featured earlier this week on Police 10-7.
On arrival, Police have located a sawn-off shotgun, and a further search has then located 2 further firearms and a quantity of chemicals.
Police Clan-lab team have also been called in regards to the chemicals located.
4 people from the address have been taken into custody in regards to the firearms being found, with charges yet to be determined.
Mr Byrne had left the address prior to Police arrival, and remains at large.
