Arrest following Robbery at Mobil Ilam

This evening armed Police located the offender for the Aggravated Robbery that had occurred earlier today at the Mobil Petrol Station in Creyke Road, Ilam.

An unemployed 20 year old male has been taken into custody and will appear in the Christchurch District Court tomorrow charged with Aggravated Robbery.

Police wish to thank members of the public who provided information which led to the identification of the male.
