Invercargill Police looking for witnesses to crash

Invercargill Police are hoping to speak to anyone who witnessed a vehicle crash last Monday, 7 September 2015.

The crash occured at 4.40pm at the intersection of Queens Drive and Don Street in central Invercargill.

The intersection is controlled by lights, however each driver believed they had the right of way before the collision occured.

The first vehicle, a Nissan ute, has been travelling south on Queens Drive while the second, a Chrysler, has been travelling east on Don Street and was turning right onto Queens Drive.

As both vehicles have travelled through the intersection, they have collided.

Police enquiries so far have not been able to ascertain who is at fault, and Police are asking for any members of the public who witnessed the crash to contact the Invercargill Central Police Station on 03 211 0400.

Alternatively, information can also be provided anonymously iva the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
