Overnight sexual assaults - police appeal for help

Update - Police ask public for help to identity offenders for two overnight sexual assaults

Today Christchurch Police have located the red Holden Commodore that was involved in a sexual attack on Friday the 9th of October 2015. At this stage Police have no further comment to make about this case.

Police are still seeking information on the occupants of a white van with dark tinted windows who were also involved in a sexual attack on the night of Friday the 9th of October 2015.

“What is known is that the victim was driven around the central city and sexually assaulted by the three males in the van. The victim was able to get out of the van at about 10.30 – 10.45pm on the corner of Armagh Street and Fitzgerald Avenue.”

Detective Sergeant GUNN urges anyone who can help identify the persons or the white van involved in this attack to contact him 03 363 7750 or the Christchurch Police on 03 363 7400.

Information can also be provided anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
