TRUCK AND TRAILER CRASH KAIMAIs
A truck and trailer unit has crashed on SH29 some 2 kilometres east of the intersection of Rapurapu Road, and Tepoi Road on the lower Kamai Hill, the Matamata side. The truck unit is presently on fire and emergency services are in attendance dealing with the situation.
The road is fully blocked and it is expected to be unpassable for the next hour or so. The public are advised to take alternative routes as there will be delays.
