High winds Rakaia River Bridge

Canterbury Police are urging drivers to take caution on State Highway 1 near the Rakaia River Bridge due to the high winds.

The Rakaia river is very dry and the high winds are not only effecting vehicles but causing dust to be blown up reducing visibility in the area.
