Police Pursuit - Mangere East
"Police Pursuit - Mangere East - National Alerts"
At 3:30am on Sunday 24th January 2016 Police were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle in the Mangere East suburb of Counties Manukau.
The pursued vehicle has crashed in to another vehicle on Buckland Road.
One of the two occupants of the stolen vehicle died at the scene of the crash and the other occupant has serious injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.
The Police Serious Crash Unit are at the scene.
Cordons are currently in place at the intersection of Wickman Way / Buckland Road & Lyncroft Street / Buckland Road.
