The Police Serious Crash Unit is investing the circumstances of a vehicle crash on Scotsman Valley Road, Tauwhare that resulted in the death of a 19 year old Hamilton man.

Hermann of the Waikato District Command Centre said the
young man was the sole occupant of a vehicle that was
travelling south along Scotsman Valley Road just before
10.00pm last night, Friday 26 February 2016.
“It
appears that the driver has lost control of the vehicle, and
collided with a tree, the man died at the scene of the
crash.”
The man’s name will be released once his family members have been advised.
