Just before 11pm on Tuesday the 29th of March 2016 a motor vehicle was stolen from outside an address in Lynfield. The owners of the stolen vehicle have searched the area and located it close by.
The victims confronted the offenders and as result were attacked and stabbed both receiving stab wounds to their upper body and hands. There were possibly up to 4 offenders who left the scene in a second vehicle which is still being sought by Police. The victims were taken to Auckland hospital where they are currently undergoing treatment for their injuries.
The victims were extremely traumatised by tonight’s events and will be supported by family and victim support. No further information will be released at this stage.
