The Spring
Fling, Gwavas Garden, House & Puahanui Tour- SOLD
OUT
Tickets for the second annual Spring Fling in Central Hawke’s Bay are being snapped up quick with events already selling out before the festival has even begun.
The Spring Fling is a celebration of the best of Central Hawke’s Bay in Spring time, featuring 20 standout events over the months of September and October.
The Gwavas Garden, Homestead and Puahanui Bush Tour on the weekend of the 8 & 9th of October has sold out with 60 people gearing up to enjoy a full day of fun at the historic homestead and garden in Tikokino.
Central Hawke’s Bay Tourism Coordinator Trudy Hales has been overwhelmed by the early response; “We are seeing a really positive uptake with ticket sales and demand for Gwavas Garden was high. Other events selling well include History & High Tea at Oruawharo and the Dusk in the Daffodils event at Taniwha. We have a great line-up of events so my advice would be to book now and snap up those tickets to avoid missing out.”
Hawke’s Bay Tourism General Manager, Annie Dundas was thrilled with the response to the Spring Fling so far. “There’s no better place to enjoy the joys of Spring than in Central Hawke’s Bay and the Spring Fling is a collection of the very best ways to celebrate all the goodness Spring brings so it’s no surprise to see these events selling out”
The Spring Fling kicks off with ‘Central Hawke’s Bay The Festival’ – a four day festival of art, food, music and wine at Pukeora Estate next Thursday through Sunday, and the opening weekend will see five events throughout Central Hawke’s Bay with History & High Tea at Oruawharo, Dawn in the Daffodils, The Spring Fling Launch Party and Ranui Farm Park’s First Sunday Funday.
