Lewis Pass closed due to crash

Lewis Pass is currently blocked in both directions following a crash this morning.

Just after 6am a truck rolled on the Lewis Pass Road, SH 7 in the area of Goings Creek Bridge.

The truck driver was uninjured in the crash but the road is currently blocked in both directions and no diversions are in place.

Work is underway to clear the road but there is no indication at this time of when the road may reopen.
