Update on Port Levy Canterbury

Police and other emergency services, including the coastguard are investigating a maroon Honda Civic car which is partially submerged in the water at Port Levy near Christchurch.

No-one has been found inside the vehicle, however Police are still at the scene to establish what has happened and further inquiries are being made with witnesses.

There is limited cell-phone coverage at the scene, so information from staff in attendance will be shared when it becomes available.
