West Coast Police investigate dairy robbery in Westport

West Coast Police are investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred late last night at the Mill House Dairy in Westport.

At approximately 11:30PM three males entered the dairy and confronted the only person present at the time with a firearm.

The person did not sustain any injuries.

The offenders have ransacked the dairy, and the attached home, and taken a large amount of cigarettes and other items. They have then left the scene in the victim’s car, which was located by Police sometime later on Alma Road.

The offenders were all wearing bright orange vests or jackets.

One of them is described as having very blond hair.

Police are conducting a forensic scene examination at the dairy this morning and would like to hear from anyone that has any information in relation to this incident.

West Coast Police would like to reassure members of the public that they are actively working on locating the offenders and holding them accountable.

Anyone who has seen anything suspicious in the area, or with any information, is asked to call Detective Sergeant Kirsten Norton on 021 191 5738 or alternatively by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
