Aggravated robbery at Rex's Bar in Palmerston North

Police are appealing for witnesses after an aggravated robbery at a bar in Palmerston North on Sunday 9 October, 2016.

At about 9.05pm, four offenders, at least one of whom had a firearm, entered Rex's Bar on Fairs Road.

They took money from the bar till and the safe, before leaving in a silver sedan car.

Two staff members and two patrons who were on the premises at the time were left shaken, but uninjured.

Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of Rex’s Bar at about 9pm last night and witnessed any suspicious activity.

Officers are also seeking a 2000 silver Subaru B4 vehicle, which was stolen from the Roy Street area overnight.

Anyone with any information can contact Detective Sergeant Shelley Ross on (06) 213 9644.

Information can also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
