"UPDATE - Armed robbery in Taita"

Hutt Valley Police are looking for four people believed to be involved in the armed robbery of a Taita Dr store.

It happened just before 9pm.

The shopkeepers were threatened with what is believed to have been a sawn-off shotgun and a knife.

No one was hurt and Police understand that a till was taken from the store.

Four people are then believed to have left into a blue 318TI, 1995 model, registration BRE645, similar to the one pictured.

Police are appealing for sightings of the vehicle, and ask anyone with information not to approach the vehicle but call 111 immediately.
