Highway 2 has been closed at Pongakawa due to a crash
involving two trucks.
Police are diverting traffic, with diversions at Pukehina School Road if travelling from Tauranga and at Old Coates Road if travelling from Whakatane.
Motorists should expect significant delays and Police ask motorists to avoid the area or delay travel if possible while the crash is cleared.
