Waikato Police have today arrested two males, aged 17 and 19, in relation to offending in Hamilton and Te Awamutu over the last week.

They are currently in custody and will appear before Hamilton District Court tomorrow morning (Saturday).

This is in addition to the arrest of a 17-year-old female and a 16-year-old male earlier in the week.

The 17-year-old has been remanded in custody, and the 16-year-old has been bailed.

All have been arrested following the aggravated robberies of Gasoline Alley in Enderley, Z Energy of Te Awamutu, Z Energy in Dinsdale, and McDonald’s Horsham Downs.

Hamilton Police are pleased to offer some closure and comfort to the victims of these violent crimes, and would like to reassure the public that Police are working tirelessly to hold these offenders to account.

We would like to thank the public for their assistance in apprehending these people.

The community should be assured that the Police treat this type of offending seriously, and would not be able to advance our investigation of these crimes without the support and assistance of the community.
